Unspoken

About Unspoken:

Unspoken is a band made up of Chad Mattson (lead singer), Jon Lowry (bassist), Ariel Munoz (drummer), and Don Eanes (guitarist). Their 2012 debut single, “Who You Are,” was iTunes’ Top Christian Song of the Year, in addition to reaching the Top 10 of Billboard’s NCA radio chart. Their follow-up and self-titled debut album made its way to the Top 10 of Billboard’s CCM chart and included such hits as “Good Fight,” “Lift My Life Up,” and “Start a Fire,” the last of which became the group’s first AC radio No. 1. Their song “Call It Grace” was not only in the Top 10 of the NCA chart, but was nominated for a K-LOVE Award for “Song of the Year,” honored by ASCAP as a Top Christian Song of 2016.

Unspoken’s latest album Reason is their most vulnerable and honest work to date. Adding Gospel influences to their soulful-pop sound, they poured the hard-fought-for truth into their songs. The first single from the album, “Reason,” quickly resonated with listeners and spent five weeks at #1 on the radio charts with over 11 million YouTube views of the song’s music video.

“This album is about believing that what Scripture says is actually true and for us. It’s the reason we can love ourselves, the reason we’ve made it this far, that we can look in the mirror and be confident and know we’re going to be all right,” says lead singer, Chad Mattson.
